Dear Community Leader,

On behalf of the Coalition for a Healthy Idaho and our Smoke free Idaho Campaign, I ask for your support to help us provide a smoke free environment for the residents and visitors of our community. Your support of this campaign shows Idaho residents and community leaders that the time is now to make all public places free of the toxins found in secondhand smoke.

As you may know, there is no risk-free level of exposure to secondhand smoke. Secondhand smoke is a documented health hazard and human carcinogen. Not only is it unpleasant, but it directly contributes to heart and respiratory problems and diseases. In addition, it encourages those who are exposed to become smokers themselves.

There are many ways for you to help protect Idaho residents and patrons!

Add you organization’s name to the list of Smokefree Idaho Supporters Help us identify individuals to volunteer Volunteer to talk to a city council member Host a Coalition for Healthy Idaho guest speaker at you workplace Include Smokefree Idaho information in your company newsletter or other materials

Write a Letter to the Editor in Support of Smoke free Idaho Cover printing costs for Smokefree Idaho campaign material Make a donation in the amount of $______ to support Smokefree Idaho

As a supporter of our campaign, we will include your name/logo on our website and provide communication updates of our activities and upcoming events. Your support will help us provide a healthy and smokefree environment for all Idaho residents and visitors to work and recreate. Thank you for your help in these efforts.
